What does 2021 hold for property investors? The Sydney and Melbourne markets have had their season of growth for this property cycle and 2021 is going to be a great year for picking up properties in WA and preparing for an increase in the market here.

We have watched with interest when Perth experienced a positive month in January 2021, but we wanted to see it sustained for at least 3 months in order to show a new trend. This is the first positive quarter Perth has experienced in a long time and could be a very significant turning point.


Once you start reading about the Perth property market rising and it becomes ‘popular’ again, you will already be 3 or more months behind. If you don’t want to be left on the beach holding an oar while the rest of us ride the next property wave in WA, now is the time to get your feet wet and buy at the current prices, then sit back and wait for the wave.


Astute investors in the Eastern States are starting to look to the West for properties displaying good rent ratios.


The best time to buy is at the bottom of the property cycle OR when it bounces back and heads north. Our experience shows that this is now…. prices have been soft for several years and only shown signs of recovery in early 2021.


Acting in a counter-cyclical fashion takes intestinal fortitude but that is when you will create your wealth.


There is no doubt that the market here in Western Australia has suffered since 2008.
